I am into woodworking and I don’t know where to get hardwood for projects at a reasonable price?

So I end up going to Home Depot for my projects. The prices are fairly reasonable but don’t have much of a variety of hard woods for my projects. I’ve tried other places including Rocklers but they are too expensive too. Are there any warehouses I could go to in the Peoria, Glendale, Pheonix area which have reasonable prices?
